Reporting to the Service and Operations Officer, the Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of water filtration equipment/system including water vending machines, water refilling stations, multi-media filters, drinking water dispensers, and counter-top or under sink filtration system. He delivers our customer promise by performing maintenance, repairs and water sampling with exceptional standards and care on water purification system; responding to service calls in a timely manner and closing our service requirements with accuracy and precision; and being proactive in identifying opportunities to minimize machine downtime. He serves as WSI brand ambassador by nurturing quality relationships with existing and potential new customers, being knowledgeable about our products and services and providing exceptional customer experiences.
He proactively calls existing accounts to schedule filter changes and equipment service. He drives and maintains Company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, he also maintains and control inventory of equipment and parts and completes all necessary documents for installation, exchange and service transactions.
Responsibilities
- Graduate of any 2-year Vocational or Technical course with at least 2-years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of water filtration systems or related equipment/product
- Fresh graduates of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or any Allied Course are also welcome to apply
- Qualify the customer needs
- Negotiate and contract
- Master demos of our software
Must Have
- Graduate of any 2-year Vocational or Technical course with at least 2-years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of water filtration systems or related equipment/product
- Fresh graduates of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or any Allied Course are also welcome to apply
- Able to use electrical equipment, basic power and hand tools with strong mechanical and electrical/electronics aptitude
- Must be physically fit
- Must be willing to be trained
